Vania Kuy is a Mobile, Alabama–based photographer whose eye was shaped long before he picked up a camera for stills. Beginning in the television news industry in 2003, he spent years in creative services before moving into fast-paced environments as a freelance sports videographer for major networks like ESPN, FOX, and CBS Sports. In 2014, he turned that experience toward photography, drawn to the quieter, more intentional art of capturing a single moment. His work focuses on portrait and engagement photography, where connection, subtlety, and emotion take center stage. While he photographs weddings as well, he is especially drawn to more intimate celebrations—spaces where stories unfold naturally and every frame carries a sense of presence.
